So, if you didn't know it already, I find masculine cards to be one of my greatest challenges. It's a double whammy when you team up a masculine card with a sympathy card...oy.
Here's what I designed for a co-worker that recently lost his Grandmother:
The sentiment is from the Fresh Squeezed Stamps set, Words to Live By:
As you might have noticed, I selectively inked up the sentiment so that it would fit the panel. That's the beauty of stamps....I'm a big fan of the Memento Dew Drops, just for this type of technique.
The wood veneer and white card stock are from my personal stash, otherwise everything else is from this month's kit.
I was inspired by last week's retro sketch.
