Hi there lovely peeps. So, what do you think of our May kit?
Today, I, Vera, get to share another card I made using May "On The Go" kit. For me, personally, I think it's my favorite kit by far. I love Amy Tangerine's style and I love the watercolor look. There's just something about them that totally called my name. :)
Today's card is one of those cards that you wish you don't have to send. I often find doing a sympathy card is bittersweet. You know whoever received it would appreciate it, but at the same time you feel sad that you have to send this kind of card.
I keep the design simple and let the soft flowers and the sentiment speak for itself.
You know how we only send sympathy card right after the event. When I lost my dad, one thing that really stands out for me and comforted me was when on the 1st anniversary of his passing a friend remembered and sent me a card. It brought me so much comfort knowing that someone thoughtful enough to send me a card just to show that I wasn't alone in remembering a year later.
My friend stated that someone else did that for her and she wanted to do the same, because she remembered the comfort it brought her. And she passed that tradition to me. So today, I am sharing this story, hoping that maybe we all can brighten someone's day by doing the same thing. There's no time limit on remembering.
If you have lost a love one, may happy memories of them brings you comfort.
