Happy Friday everyone and happy last day of May (what????)! Glenda here with my last post for the fabulous May Kit - One the Go.  It's another 'stamp free' card (*gasp*).  In this case I'm using the die cut and one of the fabulous puffy stickers.  Also grabbed some of the super cute star pins.... aren't they fabulous?  I love that I can use the paper as a ready made funky background too.

I know I keep going on and on about this kit but it really is so fabulous and versatile.  I've been using sooooo much of the kit.

Use Your Creativity

Hey everyone ... it's Angi!

 

I'm trying to get more creative with my card making.

 

I've added some corrugated cardboard to this one, along with my goodies from this month's kit. I think it adds a bit more dimension to the design.

This kit is so versatile. You can mix and match, add different elements, or just use the kit as is.

The stamps in this kit have the greatest sentiments too. I love this quote from Maya Angelou.

Hi everyone. Vera here.

Today, I want to share a friendship card that I made using this month kit. I simply add patterned paper to the card base and adhere cut out the flowers from one of the patterned paper. Finish it up by stamping the sentiment.

Sorry for the super short post today. But,I just get back in town from my vacation to Paris and am still jet lag and have lots of homework to do, including getting samples ready for the up-coming June kit that's super cute! Thanks for swinging by here.

So, if you didn't know it already, I find masculine cards to be one of my greatest challenges.  It's a double whammy when you team up a masculine card with a sympathy card...oy.

Here's what I designed for a co-worker that recently lost his Grandmother:

The sentiment is from the Fresh Squeezed Stamps set, Words to Live By:

As you might have noticed, I selectively inked up the sentiment so that it would fit the panel.  That's the beauty of stamps....I'm a big fan of the Memento Dew Drops, just for this type of technique.

The wood veneer and white card stock are from my personal stash, otherwise everything else is from this month's kit.

I was inspired by last week's retro sketch.

Slice of Happy

Happy Friday!  Glenda here with another slice of happy from the AMAZING May kit, On the Go.

I really love how the puffy stickers match perfectly with the paper.  For this card, I took the pattern on the paper and just popped on a couple of the stickers to add to the design.  For the ribbon, I punch a slot in the paper, put the ribbon through and adhere the button on top to cover up slot!  Hope you like it.

Dressing Up a Library Card

I call these "Camera Pockets"

 

You can easily slip in your favorite photos too! They would be fun to add to a mini album or layout as well.

Hi everyone! Julie with you here today sharing a layout I made with the gorgeous May Kit! :) 

 I also wanted to share how I made this tree on my layout with you today :)

In this month's kit there is a diecut -- I didn't want to use the diecut on just one layout -- so I used the diecut as a mask on this layout :)

 I used some cardstock paper to protect the rest of my layout when I sprayed the mist :)

Here is this month's kit!! Love it!

Love You To Pieces

Hi everyone. Vera here today and guess what???  I made a layout this time.

My journey in paper crafting started with scrapbooking and after 16 years doing it, I still love it. Especially when I have a super cute subject to scrapbook.  Hah... okay, I may be a bit biased, but I think my pug puppy Eli is totally adorable.

Using the patterned paper, puffy stickers and ribbon from May On The Go kit, here's my layout:

Gaahhh.... look at that face! So much cuteness. I know, I know proud mommy speaking.  ;)

Hey there, it's Shannon.  I thought I'd share a couple cards I made with the On The Go kit.  I actually made lots of cards with this kit -- the papers, stamps and embellishments are perfect for creating a huge variety of all occasion cards.

Here's one where I tried the chalkboard effect.  I thought the green of the paper was sort of a nod to the old school chalkboards of my childhood.  There's definitely been an evolution of writing 'boards in our schools, huh?

The array of little puffy stickers really added fun treats to the cards!

I really love the variety of sentiments, and the cool typography of them, in the Words To Live By set by Fresh Squeezed Stamps (included in the kit).  The cool patterned strip at the top of each 6x6 patterned paper made for AWEsome bits of jazziness on the cards, too!  Did I mention I'm a big fan of all the wood veneer shapes trending lately?!  Dig that Polaroid-looking frame from Maya Road.
