Hello and welcome Paper Made Bakery fans!!!!!
It's Amy T here!
I played with the March signs & symbols kit:
We at Paper Made Bakery are highlighting upcycling, can you spot my upcycled product{s}?
The kraft panel and sentiment are from upcycled packaging. Isn't it thee best shade of kraft?
I should have taken a picture of the kraft panel prior to stitching on it. The orange thread really makes the kraft panel POP!
Do you have a sewing machine? Do you use it on a regular basis or do you forget about it? I have my machine out so that it has it's own home. It makes it much easier to stitch projects up. I'm a big fan of colored thread and no, my bottom bobbin thread doesn't match the top stitching {gasp!}.
Don't have a sewing machine? THIS is the one that I have. Although I'd love one with more of a variety of stitches, I'm good with it.
I ended up designing a couple other projects because I wanted to show how the sets mix & match:
Old School kit
Here's my project:
One, of the many things, that I love about the 6x6 pads is how most of the manufacturers add a contrasting pattern on the top of the sheet. The one drawback is the hole used for hanging the paper pads, but you can easily get around that.
The button on my Spark your Dreams pocket has been strategically located to cover up that very issue! I'm a lazy crafter so anything that helps out in the process and those that have been following me for awhile know how I ADORE my patterns!
I gathered bits of goodies from various kits and popped them into that glassine bag that I had in my stash. It's like a mini crafting kit! This is going to my daughter's friend who recently celebrated her birthday. She enjoys cardmaking and I'm always happy to share some of my goodies with her!
Here's kind of a bonus card:
I used the How's the Weather kit
and the
Old School kit
I was inspired by the current
I let the patterned paper do all the work for me. That JJ Bolton does amazing die cutting, doesn't she?
Remember, there's still time to join in the fun with the first Paper Made Bakery kit challenge!
Thanks for stoppin' by!
