Hi there lovely peeps! Vera, here today sharing my thought on being green. :)
I am very much into supporting being kind to the environment. I recycle like crazy. In my scrap room, I have my regular trash bin and I have my recycling bag, which usually I just reuse the paper bag I got from the grocery store and use that to collect recyclable stuff.
Sometime, I end up using some stuff on my project instead of throwing it to the recycle bin. Like for example many of the catalogs I got from CHA has gorgeous image or the cardstock packaging from a sticker set. If it looks usable, I store them in a "might be" drawer that store all kind of random stuff. So, even though as paper crafter we use lots of paper, we can still be good to the environment by not being wasteful.
Now, I am also knows for keeping lots of paper scraps. Even a tiny one, as you can still punch from it or use it for banner. Like my card below, completely made using paper scraps from PMB previous kit (one of them come from last year July kit if I am not wrong, it's from the Basic Grey Konichiwa paper pad).
I simply use my Silhouette to cut out the 3 birds and use my trimmer for the banners. See, those tiny scraps can come handy. :)
This card totally make me happy. I get to use my pile of scrap papers and I get to use bird images!! I love birds on my card!! Hope this card makes you smile as well. Enjoy your day....
