Its Piali here sharing a upcycled/recycled project with you all.
Its Go Green Week here at PMB blog....here are my ways of being GREEN.
I really love to Reuse, Recycle and Reduce wastage....as Avid crafter only thing I don't like to reduce is my crafty Budget ;)
I like use every tiny bit of my paper pads....
I make bookmarks or tags with the top cover of the paper pads..its sturdy and always have variety of color & pattern stripes on it..try it out its fun!!
When I diecut something...I always try to find ways to use the negative diecut pieces, some sometimes I plan and diecut my pieces so that I can create new pretty negative pieces ...I'll show it later today.
Ok ...for this week's project I started with an empty Maya Road chipboard tin.
Product packages are the best thing to recycle.
I used paper and Washi Tape from March Fresh Baked Kit to decorate the box.
Love the pretty colorful chevrons.
I turned the plain old tin into a note card gift box ...which also can be recycled or reused for gift giving by the recipient...Awesome isn't it??
I packed few buttons and a pack of rhinestone for the recipient to embellish the note cards in his/her own way.
I used the glassine envy from February Fresh Baked kit.
Now the tag you see here....has some fun diamond shaped diecut pieces on it, here comes the clever die cutting idea, when I was diecutting the chevrons out of DP , I carefully placed the MFT chevron die so that I get these diamond negative diecut strips.
Ribbon are twine are from two past kits too.
Sentiment on the tag is from Weather Through set...
Here is the set of note cards I designed using cardstock and papers from Feb and Mar fresh baked kits.
I also embellished the envelopes (that comes in PMB Fresh Baked Kits)
Mixed DPs from both the paper pads..
Dry Embossed the bottom end with Cuttlebug Swiss dots EF.
I used these two kits....
Did you find the sneak peek of the new kit in my project?????
Hint Hint....the sentiment on the note cards are from April Fresh Baked Kit...Can't share much now, only one word I can say about it ...FABULOUS!!!!!
Two kits are still available HERE.
Hope you liked my Green ideas!!!
