Hi everyone. Vera's here today to share an all occasion card. Because sometimes you need those blank cards that can be used for anything. :)
This card is a mini card with measurement 4" x 3". I love experimenting with different card sizes. And, I decided to have the card fold on the side even though it's a horizontal card.
To thread the ribbon, I simply cut a slit on the fold mark and slip the ribbon in. Since I don't want to tie the ribbon into a bow, I tied a string around it (see pic below) and then thread the string through the button accent.
Once that done, I die cut the woodgrain patterned paper using Spellbinders frame die and add faux stitching all around. Stamp umbrella directly on the woodgrain patterned paper and then once again on the flower one, fussy cut it and adhere to the first one. Then adhere the finished piece to the card and you're done.
Easy peasy but still pretty. What do you think? Do you normally make blank card or do you feel you have to add sentiment?
All the products (except the button and string) comes from this kit, How's The Weather?:
I love to make blank cards. Yours is so sweet.
