Making Your Own...Cuz That's What Crafty Folks Do!
I love the look of those metal tags. BUT they are SO expensive. Well, I took it upon myself to make my own of sorts. I even COLORED! EEK! I stink at coloring so there is no real depth in this image, just some glitter (my favorite)!
The tag is pretty easy to make. All you need is some circle dies.
1. Die cut circle #3 and #4 dies (about 2.5inches in diameter). Use this as the "metal rim". you could emboss it in silver embossing powder to give it a more real effect. For this project I just used a thick textured cream cardstock (not in the kit).
2. Die cut a 2.5 inch circle and stamp image in center. Or you could use a piece of patterned paper, a photograph, really anything!
3. glue the 2 pieces together
4. punch small hole on top to thread twine through. I used a crop a dile.
Easy and a great idea to mass produce!
