Howdy!
It's Amy T, with a project I designed using the September
There are so many fun goodies in this kit but do you see that library pocket in the lower left hand corner?
I used it as a template to make my own:
Why?
Partially because I'm hoarding it...partially because I wanted something filled with colors and patterns.
I know I'm not alone when I say that I'm constantly bombarded with inspiration. What I tend to do is gaze, gasp and maybe pin things and then, well don't do anything with them.
When I saw the library pocket card it made me instantly think of Valerie Mangan's project. I'm a super huge fan of her work...so this project was inspired by her.
The inside card has a space to write a little note.
All the supplies with the exception of the pearl on the TV and the resin flower {from the August Paper Made Bakery kit!} did not come with the kit. I die cut the mustard paper with a doily die and die cut the fabulous cork with my butterfly die.
I had so much putting this together....thanks so much for stoppin' by!
Remember to order your Old School kit TODAY!
Very pretty--I like the doily you cut and the resin flower on top of the cork butterfly.
