Final Friday project from
me for the September Paper Made Bakery kit,
Old School
This darling kit has rung in Autumn for me,
the colors, the subject matter = Fall.
Here's just one more project,
even though I could do so many more!
The paper pieces actually come from
one piece of patterned paper.
I took my cue from the paper itself and
cut them into individual pieces.
I popped a couple of fun visuals to amp-up
the volume on the rectangles and to draw
the eye around the card.
This little bird was a last minute add-on.
I trimmed him out and brought a little more
visual attention to the greeting.
I can't decide if he's a bit creepy or not. :)
Oh well, I like him anyway.
Happy weekending to you all!
definitely NOT creepy...love the addition of that bird:) Such a fab card Alicia!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!! LOVING that grid design!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such an interesting card, I think the distressed edges is my favorite and I am not sure if the bird is creepy, he is not a sweet looking bird which doesn't help his cause
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the card, especially the popped up visuals and the notched edges for the hemp rope.
ReplyDeleteLove the retro...modern....your style is awesome!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea! Like how you popped up a few pieces too!
