My kit project today shows that
you can totally switch-up the
color feel for your project by
simply adding-in some coordinating
card stock that you may have on hand.
I had some purple that coordinated
quite well with the chevron pattern
from the gorgeous 6"x6" paper pack.
I only needed a scrap of ribbon to tie off the greeting.
Save those scraps!
I punched pennant shapes out of
three of the patterned papers, lined them up,
then zig-zag stitched the edges on my sewing machine.
I needed this to be a birthday card,
so I grabbed a greeting that I had on hand.
Remember to think of what you already have
to stretch the goodies in your kit even further!
This is BEAUTIFUL! I loveeeeeeeeee the colors and loving the pattern created with the banner pieces!!!

ReplyDeleteI love the design with all of those little banners! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI like the simple details like the straight stitching, the way the colors work so well together and the triangle shapes. Very pretty
