Butterflies in the Sky

The Reveal
Hello PMB friends, this is Michelle here today with a card share. Since this month's kit is entitled Garden Art, I wanted to pay homage to that theme. I usually use a neutral cardstock for my card base, but decided to be a bit daring today and used the Lime Crush note card from the kit. It is the color of a freshly shorn grassy field.

I punched out a 2.25" circle on the card and ran a piece of ribbon down the length of the window that was created. I used the two toned ribbon from the kit, but cut out just the darker green which is an exact match to the card.

I stamped two Lawn Fawn butterflies onto the Christy Tomlinson patterned paper and cut them out. I adhered them back to back onto the ribbon so it can be viewed from both directions. I adhered another piece of cardstock which also has the punched circle to the inside of the card, to cover up the ribbon edges.

For more of an ethereal look, you can use clear fishing line, beading wire or twine so it looks like the butterflies are floating and spinning in the air. Hope you enjoyed this CAS card. Come back tomorrow for another DT reveal.

Thanks for stoppin' by!
