Happy Monday!!!! It's Stephanie here.
I hope all you amazing Moms Had a fabulous Mother's day!!!
I know I did complete with roses and lobster dinner.
Anyways onto a Mother's Day project that I did for my own mom.
I had this cute little box that some charms came in and of course the wheels start spinning on how I could pretty up the box.
It was so easy all I did was measure the three sides picked out some gorgeous paper that would go with the ribbon and cut and adhered to the three sides of the box.
After adhering the paper I decided on the embellishments I made the cute flower by layering the crepe paper several times and then using a die to cut out the flower shape. Next I separated the pieces of paper and attached them together by putting a staple in the middle then you just crunch each flower separately to give it a full look and then added the button to the center and you have a fun little embellishment. To finish off my box i also added a diecut provided in the kit.
Hope you enjoyed today's little altered project using the fabulous Portobello Road kit
STUNNING! What a fab way to dress up the gift box. Love your crepe paper flower as well.
