Mail Call

Happy Friday Eve!  Just wanted to illustrate the sheer FUN available in our A Walk on the Bright Side kit.  In this one kit you get lots and lots of fabulous patterned paper from Lawn Fawn in the most delicious spring colors PLUS their adorable new stamp set called "You've Got Mail" {NOTE:  Lawn Fawn is currently out of stock on this set, but we've got it HERE in our kit}.

I thought I'd use the stamp set from April's kit to create a card that must be sent First Class Air Mail because there are so many cool images to dress up any simple note card and turn it into something fun...and a teeny bit romantic.  I found my inspiration in this card by Yainea.

I had to laugh when I realized my error in how to use the stamp that creates the red and blue markings that traditionally signify Air Mail.  I was trying to make the process more complicated than it really's simply a matter of staggering the image stamped first in red and then in blue ink.

The Airmail baker's twine really adds a neat touch to the theme...Signed, Sealed, Delivered -- I'm Yours!!

I know you'll find a myriad of uses for this stamp set -- and so many occasions to use it (birthdays, Christmas, love, miss you, etc.)  Lawn Fawn is currently out of stock of the "You've Got Mail" set, so here is the best way to get the set AND score lots of fantastic Lawn Fawn product to go with it!  There are only a few kits left, so don't think twice about buying yours now, before they're sold out as well!

  1. How CUTEEEEEEEEEEE!! Loving the added twine!! That is PERFECT!

  2. Love your card Shannon! The twine and edging stamp match perfectly. I can't believe the set is sold out on their site, glad I have mine. I saw this set when I was in Taiwan last week, didn't know Lawn Fawn was so international.

  3. Awesome card, Shannon! This was my favorite from Sunday's class :)
