Hello PMB friends, this is Michelle here today with a CAS, clean and simple, card for a change. I stamped the key from Sweet Stamp Shop in a range of colors starting with the lightest so I wouldn't muddy the colors. I punched a small hole at the top of the key and hand threaded the May Arts black jute through the holes to create a string of keys. This card is quite simple to make yet packs a punch. Next week I'll be back to my usual DAC, dirty and complicated, style of card making.
|The Key to my Heart|
I bought someone's wooden tape cassette holder sans tapes. It was kind of stained so I sprayed painted it white.
I also bought some used Stampin' Up ink pads and placed it in the cassette holder.
It seemed kind of large and obtrusive on the wall, so I mounted it on the side of my desk. Here is a glimpse of my workspace which my hubby built for me this summer.
I always try to find a way to use my supplies and I wanted to incorporate my newly acquired ink pads along with my Sunday Afternoon Kit. Thus this rainbow set of keys was born.
Thanks so much for stoppin' by, hope you are having a crafty day.
