Deletei used the silhouette SD at the store shannon.. and always felt it was the superior machine.. you dont need to spend extra $$ on cartridges.. you get to pick and choose the images you want to cut etc.. just waaay more flexibility
ReplyDeleteif i were to get a machine now i would go with the cameo all the way!!
(we should set up a skype meeting to talk about creative future plans ;) )
I took the survey! Can't wait to see the results!
ReplyDeleteTook the survey and curious to see what you end up with. :)
ReplyDeleteTook the survey. I had just a plain old school Cricut and ended up giving it to a friend. I'm looking for something that does fine, intricate cuts. Heard the Silhouette is the best machine.
ReplyDeleteI took the survey and can't wait to see the comparative results!
ReplyDeleteI took the survey! ;) I know...I can't win...just thought you'd want to know.
ReplyDeleteWhen shopping for an electronic cutter, I researched the Cricut and Sil SD. I chose the Sil based on the quality of smaller, intricate cuts.
ReplyDeleteI have a Cricut and haven't used it in probably a couple of years now.
ReplyDeleteI won a Zing (from Klic N Kut) and unfortunately I have nowhere to keep it, so I am selling it. {http://inkblotsbytrd.blogspot.com/p/for-sale.html}
It looks like an awesome machine - I wish I could keep it!
Just finished the survey :) I hope I didn't talk your ear off too much in the last comment box! I own 3 machines right now, and I think they fall on all ends of the spectrum, so I hope I am of some help. The absolute most important thing is to know what you want the machine to be able to do. You don't want to spend money on more machine than you need, but you also don't want to end up with a machine that makes you feel limited. But one thing is for sure, you definitely want a machine ;) Good luck making your decision, I hope you get lots of food info with this survey!

ReplyDeleteI am curious to see the results, too. I own a CE2, but am intrigued by the flexibility of a Silhouette. There are so many free and inexpensive SVG files out there!
