The Inspiration:
Hello PMB Peeps, this is
Michelle here today with a cute lil' card to share. There are so many inspiring elements in the
Fresh Baked Kit which makes it so fun to work with. I was looking over the
Avocado Arts stamp set and the stream of raindrops caught my eye so I decided to feature that image.

The Details:
I wanted to show the translucency of water so I thought about stamping on acetate. I used a solvent ink and stamped the image twice. Be really steady when stamping on a transparency as the surface is super slippery. I had to make several attempts to get a clear image. I colored with Copics on the reverse side so my markers didn't touch the ink, and it gave me a bit more room to color. Solvent inks will stain your stamps so I used a cleaner at the end.

Stamping and Coloring Acetate |
I wanted some clouds in the background to match the outdoor nature of the raindrops, but didn't want to use an actual piece of patterned paper as it would clash with the bold
Lily Bee Design prints. I punched out a cloud shape on a piece of scratch paper, but you can handcut the cloud too. I stippled over the cloud as I moved it around my white cardstock. I just wanted a whisper and not a shout of clouds.

Making Own Background |
I punched a circle on the front of my card to create a window. Then I layered the acetate, fussy cut owl and cloud background behind it. I popped up the watering can in the front as the source of the water.

Window Card |
To tie everything together, I typed up a sentiment to match the scene. I had a short piece of
May Arts jute leftover from
last week's card so I glued that on to underline the sentiment. Everything came together quite easily.

The Sentiment |
I can't wait to see you all at the reveal of the new
