Handmade by YOU

ETA: Kits are sold -- thank you!!

We've got two (2) kits available loaded with everything you'll need to create at least five cards [shown below] plus tons more! These will ship flat-rate U.S. Priority Mail -- and shipping is FREE!

The kit contains Doodlebug Design's Sweet Things 6x6 paper pad, Lawn Fawn's You Turn Me On mini stamp set, Doodlebug Design's 6x12 coordinating cardstock stickers and matte finish enamel dots, buttons, twine, bling and other goodies to dress up your creations! It also contains the cardstock makings (bases, etc.) and envelopes for the five cards -- and of course, color photo-illustrated instructions. All you need to do is let your creativity flow!

Here are the five card samples we've made with the kit:

You'll have plenty of extra products left over in the kit to make lots more cards later. And, they don't have to be Valentine-themed -- this patterned paper is so bright and adorable!

Kits are sold out.

Facing the Facts

Sometimes even I get to TAKE a class and that makes me very happy. Last weekend I had the distinct pleasure of taking a workshop with Dina Wakley...

Here's a group selfie (??) Dina had my camera and this turned out pretty cute, huh? She is funny, talented, and crazy fun! Ooh, don't stop...

Give an artist an iPhone and it's like giving a mouse a cookie! These shots are the perfect lead in to the class...Facing the Facts. Here are a couple super quick (but, my goodness, she's awesome even when she's quick!) faces Dina drew.

And here, my friends, are my renditions. Please remember that this is my very first attempt at faces and my baby steps tiptoeing into mixed media...

Didn't quite get the tilt, just a sort of photo bomb!

Farrah Fawcett's in da' house

...my own worst critic. But, if you can't laugh at yourself... Dina says we should draw 100 faces. I'm on three.

I'm doodling them spontaneously! I think I could like this. Stay tuned!

We visited loads of booths to check out what's new and awesome -- PLENTY! We didn't stop oohing and aahing for days! Most of the time I was in awe, picking my jaw up off the floor, to take enough photos...sorry.

I placed lots of orders, so look for Echo Park, Simple Stories, Avery Elle, Lawn Fawn, Carta Bella, Pebbles/Jen Hadfield, May Arts Ribbons, Sizzix (galore!), Art Impressions, and more!

You won't want to miss a single upcoming workshop (check the CLASSES tab above for details) so you can play with all this fun stuff, too!
