With a bit of sparkle...

...we'll weather it together!  Happy Friday!  Glenda here... welcome to my first post at Paper Made Bakery!  I'm super excited to be on this fabulous team.  I hope you enjoy what I come up with!

Today's card is all about glitter and paper piecing.  The raindrops were stamped and then I used my Quickie Glue pen (I think I have 5 of them scattered around my craft room) to put adhesive on the drops and sprinkled glitter on.  I also did the same thing with the faux stitching at the bottom.  Thought I would put it on to match the faux stitching on the clouds.  For the paper piecing, I fussy cut the flowered umbrella, cut out the green sections all in one piece and then adhered that over the flowered umbrella.  I've decide that I won't be able to stamp this umbrella without paper piecing it... it just *works*.

Be sure to check out this month's "How's the Weather" kit! (see below)  Also, remember, you can always find out what's going on by checking out the Facebook page and Twitter (@PaperMadeBakery).  If you need to have these kits every month, check out the Baker's Dozen kit subscription.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Hope you have a great Friday and fabulous weekend.  Try to get a few crafty minutes if you can!

  6. Such beautiful clouds and I love the glitter raindrops. And I agree - umbrellas just *need* to be paper-pieced! Great work, Glenda!
