A Word Wreath

The Reveal
Hello, PMB friends, this is Michelle here today with a Christmas card featuring a word wreath.

The Details
I was looking at some of the packaged Christmas presents at a store and noticed a wreath made out of words on one of them. I thought it looked really distinctive so I recreated the look with a sentiment stamp from this month's Christmas Treats set

I cut the Season's Greetings stamp in half so it was faster to stamp instead of having to mask it. I stamped each word in an alternating shade of green to add some depth to the wreath. I interspersed some tiny gems among the words for some ornaments. I finished it off with a twine bow tied through the center of a button. The sentiment is the image on this card.

I like to decorate the inside of my cards at the same time so the card is ready for use. That way, I don't have to go back and try to match my papers at a later date when I do want to send out a particular card. I cut up a notecard or in this case, a recipe card, for a writing section. I also backed it with some scraps to finish it off. I had an extra embossed candy cane from last week's card so that was also added.

So this is ready to be sent to someone on my list this year. Please come back and join the festivities for our December reveal on Monday.

Thanks so much for droppin' by!

happy treats

This kit is really full of happy!!!
Don't you just adore the little gingerbread kid stamp?
They are quite sweet and this one I stamped and
colored in the face and buttons with Copic markers.

Brought out my Silhouette Cameo again for this card.  I used THIS file for the label.  It turned out super cute because of all the great patterned paper included in the kit.  The '25' was punched out from one of the patterned papers. Don't you just adore these little guys?  They stamped perfectly.

It has been another AMAZING month using the

Merry Christmas

Hello friends, Jennifer here with one of the last projects we'll be showing you using the November, Christmas Treats, kit!  I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen this month with this kit and hope you're excited for the sneaks you saw yesterday for the December kit!  December already?!  :)

I started off with one of the green card bases and topped it with the fun snowflake paper from the Christmas Cheer pad.  I then stamped a medium shipping tag (not included in the kit) with the candy cane image from the Fresh Squeezed Stamps set and one of the fun sentiments.  I added some Stickles to make the canes sparkle a bit, too!  I'd been saving that large wooden snowflake and wanted to add it to the card but the look of the wood just didn't fit quite right with the card so I used some metallic silver ink!  I just love how it added the perfect touch of glimmer!  I finished the card with some twine and a cute blue button!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I'll see you back here next week with a brand new project from a brand new kit!

Paper Made Bakery, RIC, and a BONUS Project!

My favorite challenge blog and my favorite kit club, Paper Made Bakery are teaming up! So I decided to enter the challenge! How did I come up with this card? Well, keep reading!

The concept is to use a runway photo for inspiration of a card. Here is the inspirational photo for this challenge. I made my card using the stems from the lollipop stamp for the black stripes, and then I punched the circles from one of the patterned papers found in the kit. I thought the colors looked similar.

The kit is sold out, but you can get your hands on one if you enter to win Runway Inspired Challenge this week! Don't you want to? Check it out!!!

I have a bonus project to show you just for fun. I just can't get enough of that gingerbread man stamp so I pulled him out again to make some gifts for the holidays!

The bags were made out of envelopes that were sealed and stamped. They were then crimped, the tops were cut off and I then used them as you would any gift bag! Easy Peazy!

happy happy joy joy...

Hello and Happy Saturday!

It's Amy T!

Did you survive the holidays and Black Friday Shopping?

I have a quick giftie using the November Christmas Treats kit!

What to you get when you use a couple of these:

a 1 inch punch

...and Lily Bee's Christmas Cheer?

Magnets!

Super easy...although I feel like I'm showing the pictures backwards...

Here is the altered tin for the bottle cap magnets:

The cork is from an earlier Paper Made Bakery kit...

The holly leaves are from the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Christmas Treats Set:

I spotted the red bling from the kit and BAM...instant holly berries!

The twine is ala Timeless Twine....a nice little touch...

This could easily be a multi-tasking tin...give it to someone...they keep the magnets and regift the tin to someone else with a gift card in it!

 Have a terrific weekend!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas Too

I hope you are having a great Thanksgiving Day and can spend some time with friends and family. I'm glad you have time to drop by Paper Made Bakery today.

The Reveal
I've actually been having Christmas on my mind, especially when playing around with a set called Christmas Treats

The Stamps
I usually try to use at least one stamp in a set in an unexpected way. This really extends the use of a set. I found that the most versatile stamp in the set is the lollipop stamp. There is so much you can do with it!

The Details
I stamped it onto three differently colored snowflakes on the same Lily Bee Design patterned paper.
I cut it out, added a small silver rectangle at the top to turn it into an ornament. I finished it off with a twine bow, Glossy Accents and a touch of Stickles. For the ornament hook, I used the candy cane stamp embossed in silver.

I sprayed the background with some green and blue color mist to tie in some of the color of the snowflakes. For the sentiment I opted to use a strip of patterned paper at the bottom instead of a stamp. I think the lollipop ornaments turned out so cute, don't you?

Have a great day and thanks so much for stoppin' by!

I'm feeling a little loopy today.

I just adore a sweet bow.
Especially an extra loopy one.
This one was made with the fabulous twine included in the

I cut the flower flourish out using my Silhouette Cameo using THIS file.  Love all the great papers included in the paper pad this month.  I also stamped that little candy and popped it up on the card.  All my white sentiments on the red card stock this month are heat embossed... it really helps the sentiment pop.  Once I tied up my loopy bow, I just glued it to the front of the card with some liquid glue.  And last, I added some dots with my white gel pen for some fun.

Interested in how I make my loopy bows?

I have a quick little video on the how to just for you.

Hope it helps you get your loops on!

Have a super day!

Season's Greetings

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a cute little tag that I made with this month's kit!  A little birdie told me it has already sold out so I sure hope you got one if you wanted one!  If not, you can sign up for the Baker's Dozen subscription to make sure you don't miss out on one you want!

For this tag (shipping tag not included in the kit), I layered two of the patterned papers from the deck and stamped one of the sentiments from the Fresh Squeezed Stamp set on the red striped paper.  I added a couple of green rhinestones on the sides of the sentiment.  I took the little spool and wound some twine around it and then poked the pearl stick pin through the spool and tucked it behind the green paper.  I stamped three of those adorable little gingerbread men, colored them with my Copics, and added some Stickles for a bit of shimmer.
Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll see you back here next week for my last project featuring this wonderful kit.  Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.  I know I for one am truly thankful for all of my blessings this year!

Thinking Ahead

I'm having a ball on this first day of vacation and trying to plan ahead for all the fun baking and gift projects I have on my holiday To Do list.  Here's a quick and easy tag to put on my plates of baked goodies I like to share with my co-workers.
I paper pieced the plate of cookies from Fresh Squeezed Stamps' Christmas Treats, which was part of our November Fresh Baked Kit.  The patterned paper is also from this kit -- it's by Lily Bee Design and is called Christmas Cheer.  C'mon, how can you not be in the holiday spirit and ready to whip up a batch of sugary goodness?

At least my co-workers have a hint that I'm not "wasting" my vacation time, but creating good things to share with them soon!  Hope your week is starting off well and that you have a relaxing, enjoyable Thanksgiving!

Showflakes

anyone who knows me and my blog knows I have a weakness for only one thing...glitter! I love it so much and can think of a million uses for it to make your cards POP. So the post today is a favorite of mine :)

Using some supplies from this months sweet kit from Paper Made Bakery, my Martha Stewart punch, and coarse glitter, I made some special tags.

I thought it might be fun to SHOW you just how much I love glitter. It started with just one bottle:

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

Hello Ladies & Gents!

It's Amy T.....For those that been following me know that I have a slight love for coffee.  Luckily, so does my Momma.  Although her love is on a much lower scale of consumption, she does make a daily trip to Starbucks for her one cup of drip coffee while she reads her book.

I altered this Coffee pack for my Momma to slip into her stocking this Christmas:

All the patterned paper is from the November Christmas Treats kit
{sorry, it's sold out!}

The dictionary page and glitter are from my stash.

Sorry that the photog isn't the best.  I try to get all my crafting done during the weekend so that it gives me plenty of natural light photography time....Lately I've been having to craft in the wee hours of the morning....this project was especially challenging to photog since it won't 'stand up' for me:)

Can you believe that Thanksgiving {for all of my American Friends} is next week?  Where has the year gone?!

Thanks so much for stopping by today....I swear that the kits sell out faster and faster...don't delay and join the Baker's Dozen Subscription TODAY.
