Happy Birthday

The Reveal
Hello, PMB friends, this is Michelle here today with a quick and easy birthday card that can be made from start to finish in under 30 minutes, just like Rachel Ray's meals!

The Inspiration
I already had another card all written out and ready to go for my sister's 28th birthday dinner, but then I saw that one of my wooden bingo chips had a 28 on it and the opportunity was too good to pass up. I literally had 30 minutes before I had to leave but decided to just go for it.

I cut an assortment of vertical strips from the patterned papers, deep blue cardstock and ribbon for my background to compliment the height of the bottle. I paper pieced the bottle, straw and label and then adhered the bingo chip onto the label with a glue dot. I pieced together different components of the sentiment stamps to get the saying that I wanted. I did smear one of the letters so I covered it up with the stream of bubbles. Since this was a one shot deal, I couldn't redo anything nor use anything that required drying.

Luckily it all came together and my sister was impressed by the card and especially the bingo chip with her age on it.

You too can whip something up last minute with a handy dandy Fresh Baked Kit. It is really convenient to have one lying around, especially an all purpose set like this month's Sodas in Soho

I'm soda-lighted you dropped by today! Have fun with your own crafting.
