Faux Chevron, Square Punchin'

I love the idea of
faking a technique,
especially when I don't have the
die or tool that I have in mind.

Today I'm going show you
a simple way to make quilted
looking chevrons with patterned
paper and a square punch.

My project puts to use
Paper Made Bakery's
November Kit

Here's the card...
It looks waaaaaaay more
complicated than it really is.
Be sure to scroll down to
the Tiny Tutorial to get the idea.

Aren't the wooden snowflakes in the kit the cutest?!
There are even little 1/2 rhinestones in there. Perfect.
I used a 1 1/4" square punch, four different patterns of paper,
red and green card stock.

We are expecting snow here in Salt Lake City.
I'm going to go snuggle under a blanket.... :)
