I ♥ U

The Kit
Hello PMB friends, this is Michelle here today. I thought the colors and patterns in this month's Sweet Life kit were so fun and vibrant, that I wanted to showcase them on a sweet card.

The Reveal
I thought the best way to showcase the paper was to feature them as colorful refrigerator magnets scattered across the doors. I then nestled the sentiment amongst the letters.

The Details
I made this to fit inside a legal sized #10 envelope, so I used a separate sheet of 8.5 x 11" of white cardstock. You can scale it smaller and use the A2 sized cards included in the kit.

1. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 8 x 8.5". Fold in half for a card sized 4 x 8.5".

2. Measure three inches down from the top. Cut a slit from the edge to the fold. This will make two doors for the front of the card.

3. Round the corners if desired.

4. To make the handles, cut two rectangles, .5 x 2" and .5 x 4". Distress the edges. Adhere the smaller strip to the top door and the longer strip to the bottom door using foam adhesive.

5. Cut out a random assortment of letters and one heart using scraps of Avalon paper. I used some Quickutz .5" dies on my Cuttlebug. Make sure the main sentiment is in a bold color that is different from the rest of the letters. This is a great way to use up scraps.

6. Line up your sentiment and adhere to the card. Adhere the rest of the letters in a random pattern. You can spell out any sentiment that you want with the letters or add some kid drawings or other magnet shapes and really make this your own refrigerator.

This is a totally adorable kit and your projects will turn out the same.
