Ahem, ATTENTION Please...

Paper Made Bakery has a
fun new kit for September called

What a great mix of colors and fabulous elements.  Last month we had a wild mix of papers and bright colors.  September brings us a fabulous collection of masculine yet feminine colors and elements.  Lots of amazing things to play with.

I am a goner!

I absolutely love to make masculine cards.  I have more of a graphic style which helps when creating for guys.  Two tips when it comes to guy cards:  1. CAS is the way to go.  Guys do not like fussy cards.  Simpler is better.  2.  Stay away from PINK.  Ha.  Actually you can use pink if it is the right color.  But go for a more muted cool color palette.  I can see LOTS of great guy friendly cards coming out of this kit.  But don't worry, there are plenty of items for girlie cards too.  I'm thinking it will be great for teens as well.

Did you see that sheet of cork in the set???  That is what I stamped the microphone on and then used a Spellbinder die to cut it out.  Cuts like butter.  A few layered squares of the paper and the perfect sentiment finished off with a brad completed this one.  I dare say this one might be my fave card from this kit, but we shall see, I have many more to go.

I am sorry I couldn't participate in the design team hop on Monday.  We had some family matters to attend to and I wasn't able to join in on all the fun.  So, I have my SCRAPS UNWRAPPED video to share with you today.  Let's see what is in this fabulous kit.

I'll see you next week!

  5. What a great masculine card! Sometimes those are harder to make than cute, feminine ones. You rock! Hope you are doing well. Glad to see you back in action.
