Painted Autumn Sunrise
Just a real quick share today -- here's a fun little card to welcome autumn.  I love to browse the paint aisles at the big DIY stores.  Seeing all those colors, coordinated so perfectly, makes me smile.

I found a paint line whose samples were round, with only a small straight edge.  They offered lots of colors that complimented the Old School kit, so I picked several of them up.
The sample I chose to use is called Prairie Wheat...I thought that sounded quite appropriate for the feel I was going for.  I edged the card front in Wild Honey Distress Ink, slid the ribbon slide onto the pretty orange/pink sheer ribbon and adhered that to the card front.  Then I simply slid the paint sample under the ribbon and stuck my sentiment (from a stamp I had in my stash) over the name of the paint color!  The cork leaves gave my ode to autumn that final touch.

Thanks for stopping by today -- have a wonderful week!
