Watercolor That Butterfly!

Hi Everyone!

I gave watercoloring  a try using distress inks...and well, I wasn't totally in love with my attempt, so I went back and colored in some of the butterfly with colored pencil...then I was happy! I took the pic turned a bit so you can see the dimension in the card.


And here is what it looks like straight on:

I did use a scrap piece of white card stock to mount the image and also used a gem to dot the "i" in the sentiment, but everything else came from the kit. Look at all the goodies you get this month!



If you want to push your creative boundaries and try new techniques, GET THIS KIT! I have never tried watercoloring an image before, but the stamp set called for it and so I was inspired to give it a go.
