Do what matters most...upcycling tip

Hello!

It's Amy T, here today to show you a card I designed using the August

Pssssttttt.....I have a thrifty tip to share....

I'm a huge fan of using the 'cover page' of a paper collection.

Take....

She Art

See how glorious that cover page is?  It is filled with all the patterns!

With some careful trimming...perhaps a smidge of stitching...

it can make a lovely panel on a card or project:

Here's a full view of my card:

 I love the quilted look....

My entire card is from the Garden Art kit.  The lovely Lawn Fawn bloom has been paper pieced with the bloom on glue dots {okay, so the glue dots are from my personal stash}.

Here's another shot of just the cover page...do you see that in the lower left hand corner?

It's a vanilla strip...like a fortune from a fortune cookie....

I clipped that out and used it on the interior of my card:

Seriously...Dontcha love that?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
