A Musical Card

The Reveal
Hello PMB friends, this is Michelle here today with a cute little card to share. I was looking at the Lawn Fawn "you've got mail" stamp set and I saw the wavy tail that goes with the cancellation stamp. It reminded me of a musical staff.

You've Got Mail Stamps
The Details
I stamped the wavy lines several times across the card, connecting the ends together. This made three lines across the paper. A staff has 5 lines, so I stamped another row underneath the first row, masking the last line with a scratch piece of paper, so I'd end up with 5 instead of 6 lines.

Musical Card
I then placed a Kaisercraft lavender pearl on each line and drew in some vertical lines to create notes. I played with the pneumonic phrase, "Every Good Boy Does Fine" which correlates with the notes E, G, B. D and F, and changed it to "Every Good Birthday Deserves Friends". I tied some of the Lawn Fawn natural hemp cording around the center fold. This is a quick card to make in the CAS style, and would be good to give to someone would loves music.

If you play with the different elements in the kit and you can come up with some interesting results. Even though the stamp set relates to mail, don't let that limit your uses for the kit. I loved all the fun elements in this month's kit. So go ahead, and take a walk on the bright side of life.

Thanks for stoppin' by,
