Pinturtles...

Just a quick share...it's kind of like that game you played when you were a kid...Telephone?  Ryann found the recipe for Rolo-pretzel-Turtles on Pinterest and served them at a get-together earlier this month.  I thought they were so yummy that I wanted to make them for my gals in class today.  So, I checked out Pinterest for the recipe -- none made with almonds (at least on my cursory glance).  So, I made them like Ryann, with natural almonds on top instead of the classic pecan, and took a couple photos so I could Pin It on my Sweet Tooth Recipe board on Pinterest.

Easy-schmeasy to make: Place square/grid shaped pretzels, with an unwrapped Rolo on top, onto parchment-lined baking sheet and heat in 350 degree oven for 3-5 minutes -- just so they're soft and squishy, but not totally melted.  Remove from oven and gingerly smoosh a natural almond onto the top of each.  Place onto serving plate and share with your crafty friends!  Mmmmm
