Flying Kites

Hi friends! It's Ashley here to share a card with you today using the Sunday Afternoon Kit. I love this kit! The bright happy colors put me in that springtime mood. Isn't it amazing how paper can make you feel that way? And I LOVE the kite stamp in this kit! Each of my kids have a kite and we go to the park to fly them, it always makes for a lovely afternoon!

For my card, I thought it would be fun to use some of the May Arts jute twine that came with the kit to make tails for the kite stamp from the Sweet Stamp Shop set that comes with the kit. I paper pieced the kites and put double sided tape on the back and attached the twine. Then I paper pieced a bow for each kite. It was pretty simple and very cute! I just added some paper from the paper pack we got and stamped a sentiment from Old Fashioned Afternoon (which is EXCLUSIVE to this kit for the month of March!)
Have a fabulous day, friends!
