Change it Up!

The Reveal
Hello PMB friends, this is Michelle here today with a card to share. I was thinking of ways to get the most use out of my Sweet Stamp Shop stamp set, and I thought of playing with directionality. If the direction of a stamp can be changed, then it is like having double the stamps!
U Be U card

The Details
1. Cut a piece of acetate to the size of your card. If you don't have acetate, there is a piece that comes with your stamp set.
2. Stamp your image on the acetate using a solvent ink. Since the acetate is transparent, you can draw guidelines on a scratch piece of paper and place it underneath for more accuracy when stamping.

3. If you want to change the direction of a stamp, flip the acetate over and stamp on the reverse side. Since it is transparent, you'll be able to see the image. I have two rows of bicycles facing right and one row facing left. If I had stamped on paper, I would only get the bicycles facing in one direction. You can make them look like they are crashing into each other if you want to.

4. Place the stamped acetate on top of your card base and stitch in place.
5. Layer the sentiment on top of the acetate.
6. To get even more use out of my stamp set, I made up my own sentiment using parts of the existing sentiment. I colored in only the letters I needed instead of inking the entire sentiment.

Have fun with your stamps and make them work for you. There is so much versatility in a Sunday Afternoon kit, the sky's the limit.
Thanks for stoppin' by.
