Cupcakes, Classes & Cards, OH MY!

We've rescheduled the Hooray for Cupcakes banner class from August 30 to September 7 and we've been invited to the Lawrence Welk Resort Village to boot!  The class and kits are sold out, for now, but we've started a wait list for both -- so if you're interested in a banner kit or the kit/class, please email me right away so I can get you what you need.  Ah, for the love of cupcakes!

Saturday was my sweet niece's fourth birthday and she hosted her first tea party.  I made her card (of course) using a Pure Innocence set called Tea Party (of course) .  The papers are from Webster's Pages.  Such a delicately pink paper project!

HOORAY for Cupcakes

As if you didn't already know this about me, but I like cupcakes.  I adore them!  So much so that I took the advice of several smart folks and designed a banner using Maya Road's cupcake chipboard album.  Once I started collecting the vintage sheet music and the whimsical paper line by October Afternoon called "Fly A Kite", I was pleasantly surprised and reminded of the addage, "Great minds think alike" when I saw the adorable cupcake and ballerina banner Katie Watson created.  She's a designer for Maya Road and I simply love her work.  So, if you'd like to make your own banner to celebrate any special occasion, be sure to check out the Hooray for Cupcakes banner, August's Fresh Baked Kit at Paper Made Bakery.

I'm teaching the project at Jazi Crafts in Oceanside on Wednesday, August 25 at 5:30 p.m.  There is truly a limited number of kits for this class, so you really will need to sign up early!  Contact Michelle at (760) 414-9645 to reserve your kit and place in the class.  If you can't make it to the class in Oceanside on August 25, I'm hosting a small group at the Paper Made Bakery classroom in Scripps Ranch on Monday, August 30.  Contact me to reserve your spot on August 30.  Enjoy your week and have a cupcake for me!

Pink is COOOOOLLLLL

Well, after much finagling and wrangling, the first batch of the NEW and cool pink ATGs have arrived and are, at this moment, officially sold out!  However, the good news is that there is another batch of them on their way shortly.  So, if you're still dreaming of something sticky and pink (and it's not a cupcake!), drop me a line and let me know you want me to hold the next ATG and some refills for you!

These babies are exactly like the "red original" ATG 714, as far as I can tell.  The packaging and instructions are so much easier to read and keep on hand for reference.  The hot pink handle and body are great, especially as a reminder that Scotch/3M is donating a portion of the proceeds for this tool to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

They go fast, so if you want to be a paper diva, get yours TODAY!
